What We Provide
Tarry A While Resort can customize our services to fit your style and your budget. Whether it’s tailoring one of our on site locations for your ceremony or unique lodging solutions for your guests, we will work with you to make your special day truly remarkable! We have incredible views of Highland Lake and Pleasant Mountain from most areas on the property. Some of the options our venue offers are:
• Two choices for ceremony locations: either at our Pristine Waterfront or on our Dance Garden Patio near the Inn. ​
• Our recently finished timber frame gazebo located at the waterfront can be utilized for your ceremony, cocktail hour or rehearsal dinner.
• Event Tent with seating for up to 200 guests
• Rehearsal Dinners
• Social Hall with its fire pit for gatherings
• Acres of Manicured Lawns with Lake and Mountain Backdrops
• Lodging at our Inn and Cottages for your guests

Catering
Ours or Yours
Tarry A While specializes in hosting lake side lobster bakes and buffet style dinners for either your rehearsal dinner or reception. And perhaps a champagne Sunday brunch for the day after your event is a nice send off for your family and friends. We also welcome outside caterers if a specialized cuisine is what you desire. Let us know and we will work with you to make it memorable!

Tarry A While prides itself on working with you, your wedding planner, day of coordinator and other vendors to ensure no detail is left unaddressed. We want your special day to go off without a hitch - well, except to each other!
Lodging & Accomodations
Inn & Cottages
Tarry A While Resort can accommodate a maximum of 62 of your wedding guests on site. This means that many of your guests can enjoy themselves and not have to leave the property. Wedding parties also can enjoy all the resort amenities at the lakefront, Social Hall, fire pit and various lawn games. It's a small slice of heaven that your family and friends will be talking about for long afterwards!
